Rebecca yelled at me to update, so I will oblige. I wish I could say that I have lots of interesting things to write about, but I don’t. Work marches on. Things are good there. I am a little tired of constantly talking (lots of talking and meetings and motivating), but I can pretty much be quiet on the weekends.
I haven’t purchased any more furnishings for the apartment. I want to wait until Mike gets here in three weeks so that we can make these decisions together. I also need him to do the heavy lifting.
I would be lying if I said that I wasn’t in a little bit of a funk. I am slightly depressed. I miss Mike a lot and I feel like it is impossible to meet people outside of work. Thank god I have Dio because I would be suicidal without him. He is the definition of companion animal.
On the knitting front I have a couple of projects going on. None for me of course, but I knit on.
The only thing that is going remotely well is my diet and exercise plan. I am eating very well and exercising regularly. So far I have dropped 10 pounds and have lost about 15 inches total. This makes clothing shopping lots of fun. So far I have had to have two pairs of pants taken in. Not bad.
Tonight I rented a bunch of movies and am slightly buzzed on rum and cokes. It may sound sad and pathetic, but it is what it is.

A slight buzz in front of a movie one enjoys is a good evening in my book.

You’re right. I just wish the movies were good.
